On this the 70th anniversary of the formation of Home Guard, ITV produced a short
tribute and featured the accompanying article on their evening Calendar programme.
The footage shown is a mix of origional film of the Thornton Home Guard and footage
of the present WR28 Home Guard members filmed on one of our regular drill nights.
